Steps to activate McAfee on Samsung TV

Since McAfee is pre-installed on your Samsung TV, therefore you do not need to activate it. However, if you are still asked to activate it, you need to contact the TV retailer and ask help for the activation. Once McAfee gets activated on your TV, you may start the scanning procedure. Here’s how to do it:

1. Using the remote of your TV, go to the ‘Settings’ menu.
2. After this, select the ‘General’ tab.
3. Here, you need to click the ‘System Manager’ tab.
4. Now, scroll down to find ‘Smart Security’ and click on it.
5. From this tab, select ‘Scan’.
6. As soon as you click on this option, your TV will start scanning for malware and viruses.
